Single Battle Movesets
Ability: Moxie
Item: Assault Vest
Description: This moveset is planned to disrupt the foes by lowering the physical attack with either Trop Kick or King’s Rage, while also taking less damage from special attacks with the Assault Vest. This moveset also offers a bonus, while decreasing the foe’s offensive capabilities, you can poison it with Poison Tail and then finish it with Low Blow, which doubles power on foes affected by status conditions. This can easily earn you attack boosts through the Moxie ability.

Ability: Moxie
Item: Sitrus Berry
Description: This moveset is very straightforward, but also very risky to use. If you find an opportunity where the foe isn’t applying offensive pressure to you, use Belly Drum and you might instantly win the battle. Your Attack stat will be raised by 6 stages and this means that Power Trip‘s damage will increase to 140, and with those Attack boosts it will be hard for a foe to survive that sum of damage. On the other hand, you got moves such as Jungle Rush and SuckerPunch, which are both great offensive options, but mainly, you can abuse their +1 priority and make sure that you will hit first, and with the Belly Drum boost it will be almost sure that your foes won’t survive those hits either. But have in mind that moves such as Haze, Clear Smog, Clear Breeze, and Pure Flame can end your sweep by clearing your stat boosts, specially Haze that has +1 priority.

Double Battle Moveset
Ability: Moxie
Item: Life Orb
Description: This move offers great coverage against Venudile‘s weaknesses in the form of Rock Slide. I recommend pairing it with slower Pokémon to abuse Scary Face, giving an opportunity to those slow Pokémon that are usually more privileged in their other stats, and making both foes slower can give you more chances to Flinch them with Rock Slide. If you earn a Moxie boost, Jungle Rush‘s priority is a safe option to keep up with the offensive pressure, and lastly, Wicked Blitz is a verystrong move that can offer you easy 1-hit K.Os to keep summing Moxie boosts. Pairing it with other Pokémon that offer offensive pressure or have moves that target both foes and may cause flinching is ideal if you use Scary Face.
